As a Commercial Construction Project Manager/Estimator, you will play a critical role in overseeing construction projects from start to finish, ensuring that they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Responsibilities:<ul><li>Manage and oversee construction activities from start to finish, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards</li><li>Coordinate and manage subcontractors' work and suppliers to ensure budgets are met while maintaining the production schedule.</li><li>Inspect work in progress to ensure that workmanship and materials adhere to quality specifications.</li><li>Prepare or review reports on progress, payment applications, punch lists daily diaries, and input data into the software management system.</li><li>Coordinate and approve time and material costs with various sub-contractors while maintaining daily paperwork and job logs.</li><li>Maintain timely and accurate customer billing, as well as correspondence with the customer both written and verbal.</li><li>Communicate with Superintendents to monitor construction progress, including worker productivity and compliance with building and safety codes.</li><li>Resolve problems that arise due to inclement weather, emergencies, or other issues that may cause delays.</li><li>Evaluate progress and prepare detailed reports.</li><li>Oversee construction projects.</li><li>Supervise and manage field staff.</li><li>Be the main point of contact for design professionals, owners, and vendors.</li><li>Manage subcontractors and approve invoices.</li></ul>Qualifications:&nbsp;<ul><li>7+ years of experience in construction management or a related field</li><li>High School diploma or GED required. A bachelors degree is a plus!</li><li>Knowledge of building codes and regulations</li><li>Ability to read, understand, and explain construction blueprints and floorplans.</li><li>Possess expertise in standard commercial construction practices.</li><li>Proven ability to deliver projects on time and budget.</li><li>Ability to maintain a high level of customer satisfaction for demanding clients.</li><li>Deep knowledge of industry safety practices.</li><li>Excellent computer skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office and able to learn new software.
